Meet Your Doula
Welcome! I’m Jess, and I am so glad you are here.
For the past decade, I have had the privilege of supporting families across Atlanta as a professional infant and toddler nanny. My career has been dedicated to nurturing the growth of young children—fostering developmental milestones, managing daily routines, and providing a safe, supportive environment for big emotional shifts. Beyond direct childcare, I managed the comprehensive operations of the home, from organization and scheduling to meal planning and household management.
Throughout my years of service, my passion naturally centered on newborn care. It was during this time that I also witnessed the profound, often unspoken challenges of early motherhood: the exhaustion, the identity shift, physical depletion, and decision fatigue.
It led me to a this: Who is caring for them? Who mothers the mother?
Heirloom Birth & Family was founded to answer that question, ensuring that parents receive the same dedicated care they pour into their newborns.
I believe the postpartum season is a deeply sacred, transformative, and tender season of transition. My mission as a your doula is to provide a grounded, compassionate listening ear and non-judgmental care as you recover from birth, bond with your baby, and navigate life as a growing family. By offering practical support, I work to curate a peaceful environment and maintain household harmony for your entire home. With gentle, evidence-based guidance, I’ll empower parents to make confident choices for their infant and themselves. I am here to ensure mothers feel seen, known, and cherished and partners feel supported and valued—moving you away from feeling depleted and overwhelmed so that you can experience restorative rest, genuine confidence, and calm connection during this season.
How I Support You
Emotional Care: I offer a grounding, non-judgmental space to listen and support you as you navigate your new identity and learn a new human.
Overnight Support: Focused, expert care of your newborn so you can get the restorative sleep your body needs, knowing your baby is cared for through the night.
Daytime Practical Support: To alleviate the physical demands of early postpartum life, I can manage light household tasks, prepare you simple nourishing meals, or care for your baby so you can prioritize your own rest and recovery.
My mission is to transform what can feel like an overwhelming season into one where you feel held, cherished, and fully empowered. Heirloom Birth & Family is my proudest endeavor, and I look forward to walking alongside your family.
